Hi, my name is Angela. I am the creator and owner of Happy Tails Canine Adventures. I have recently said goodbye to my dearest littles. My dog Maple, and cat Tigz, passed away and I am taking some time for my heart to heal. I look forward to adopting some more rescues soon. I moved to Prince George from the Greater Vancouver area, but I am originally from the West Kootenays.
My background includes over a decade of experience as a Teacher's Aid and a Residential Care Worker. But, my life long love of animals has led me to start my own business, helping other pet people with their cherished, furry, family members.
I originally took Dogsafe® Canine First Aid 101, in 2006, with the founder of Dogsafe®, Michelle Sevigny. At the time, I was doing some dog walking and pet-sitting, and really enjoyed the class and appreciated the knowledge that I gained from the course.
Fast forward a decade, and I still really value that experience. So, I got in touch with Michelle and applied to become a Dogsafe® Canine First Aid instructor, myself. I graduated from the, comprehensive, seven month, 198-hour, Dogsafe® Authorized Instructor program in December of 2016.
I launched Happy Tails Canine Adventures in the spring of 2017. I've been focused on meeting new animal friends through my Dog Walking Adventures and Pet-Sitting services. I've also been working with some amazing, animal-loving humans through the Dogsafe® Canine First Aid 101 classes that I teach throughout the year.
I look forward to meeting you and your animal companions out and about!
